No Yeast Pizza Dough

A quick and easy recipe for soft and chewy pizza dough that requires no yeast, perfect for spontaneous pizza nights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2.5 cups all-purpose flour (plus more for working the dough)
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 and 1/4 cups warm water (plus more as needed)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (plus more to oil pizza pans)

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Mix in any optional dried ingredients for added flavor.
  2. Measure out warm water and add in the olive oil, stirring to combine.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture, stirring until a shaggy dough forms. If the dough is dry, add water one tablespoon at a time.
  4. Oil your pizza pans and spread the dough evenly over the surface, using flour as needed for stickiness.
  5. Divide the dough into two balls, place on greased pans, and top with sauce, cheese, and your favorite toppings. Bake in a preheated oven at 425°F for about 11 minutes.

Notes

Let leftover dough cool, then wrap in plastic wrap or store in an airtight container. For freezing, store in the freezer for up to 3 months.
